Yaşar Sadri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yaşar Sadri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aslak Hol's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Yaşar Sadri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazmi Kortan went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Erzincan's Yaşar Sadri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazmi Kortan in the 15th minute of play. When Sadri Fırıncı came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Erzincan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadri Fırıncı couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umut Akay in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Mala saved BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, Nazmi Kortan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Yaşar Sadri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İhsan Sehriyar took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaşar Sadri. Yaşar Sadri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Yaşar Sadri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazmi Kortan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Halil Can Durcan fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erzincan's protests and gave Halil Can Durcan a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when İhsan Sehriyar made the kick off in the second half. BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR's Nazmi Kortan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Erzincan defense, Nazmi Kortan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaşar Sadri. The Erzincan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yaşar Sadri should have stopped the shot. Nazmi Kortan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Yaşar Sadri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR. Umut Akay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Erzincan's Yaşar Sadri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Erzincan from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Nazmi Kortan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. In the 76th minute, Nazmi Kortan made a precise shot to the right of Yaşar Sadri. Erzincan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Aslak Hol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Nazmi Kortan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazmi Kortan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaşar Sadri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İhsan Sehriyar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yaşar Sadri came out and tried to block the shot, but İhsan Sehriyar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 82nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Nazmi Kortan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazmi Kortan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Umut Akay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzincan and the BÜYÜK ERZURUMSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Erzincan's Umut Akay got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aslak Hol managed to get in a good position for a shot.
