Alparslan Okhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadri Fırıncı in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Erzincan defense, Leonardo Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaşar Sadri. The Erzincan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yaşar Sadri should have stopped the shot. If Leonardo Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Silvan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gencal Yerel hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Leonardo Escobar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Erzincan's Yaşar Sadri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Macit Elçin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Sadri having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Silvan got a freekick which was hit by Nuratay Timurkan. In the 35th match minute, Erzincan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Akay to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Escobar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yaşar Sadri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yaşar Sadri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Escobar's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Leonardo Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leonardo Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silvan's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaşar Sadri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuratay Timurkan during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Silvan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuratay Timurkan to maneuver through the defense. Gencal Yerel scored 0-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaşar Sadri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Erzincan's zone, Hilmi Safi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Sadri came out of the goal and Hilmi Safi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gencal Yerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yaşar Sadri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
