Nikola Tesla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harun İpekdal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Harun İpekdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağan Dervişoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Bayezit Kotuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaman Academy®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bayezit Kotuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aybars Baysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Çağan Dervişoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turgut Yuluğ charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turgut Yuluğ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Yaman Academy® got a freekick which was hit by Turgut Yuluğ. Bayezit Kotuz might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aybars Baysan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bayezit Kotuz ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Danış Zeyyat came free, but Harun İpekdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Yaman Academy® got a freekick which was hit by Nizam Çağar. Harun İpekdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağan Dervişoğlu in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikola Tesla was the one to do the kick off.
