In the 8th match minute, HullCity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Ziya Öztan to maneuver through the defense. Veritas F.C's Stefan Ingemarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Ingemarsson got free with Davut Demiroğlu in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to HullCity getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mehmet Emrah Taykoç hit a great ball. Davut Demiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Ingemarsson in the 29th minute of play. If Merih Avcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, HullCity's goalkeeper Davut Demiroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Ingemarsson. Mehmet Emrah Taykoç kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emrah Taykoç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HullCity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veritas F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, HullCity's Mehmet Emrah Taykoç got a free kick in the 41st minute. The supporters of Veritas F.C booed when HullCity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağlar Uskan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Haydar Darga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peker Özkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davut Demiroğlu was a little too slow when Fahrettin Ulukut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Ingemarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Ingemarsson in the 56th minute of play forced HullCity's goalkeeper Davut Demiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serhan Şahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Davut Demiroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, HullCity's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Ingemarsson came free, but Davut Demiroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Veritas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Buğra Denizcan. Davut Demiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Ingemarsson in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the HullCity defense, Stefan Ingemarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davut Demiroğlu. The HullCity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davut Demiroğlu should have stopped the shot. Stefan Ingemarsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davut Demiroğlu. Davut Demiroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 88thth minute of the game Serhan Şahin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HullCity's Davut Demiroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 minutes, Peker Özkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HullCity and the Veritas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HullCity getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Peker Özkan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, HullCity's Mehmet Emrah Taykoç got a free kick in the 90th minute. Stefan Ingemarsson scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davut Demiroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Veritas F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while HullCity had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
