Kurucaşilespor's Erkut Zor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz Ülküm in the 7th minute of play. If Stig-Ove McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute Stig-Ove McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Isaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aycan Ongar in the 12th minute of play forced Kurucaşilespor's goalkeeper Erkut Zor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Isaicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Ove McNamara in the 13th minute. SAKARYA SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Stig-Ove McNamara scored to the left of an out of position Radu Isaicu, making the score, 1-0. Erkut Zor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aycan Ongar in the 20th minute of play. Radu Isaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uluç İnan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Kurucaşilespor were awarded a corner. Uluç İnan went to the cornerflag to take it. Kurucaşilespor's Uluç İnan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radu Isaicu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 24th minute, Mümtaz Ülküm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SAKARYA SK booed when Kurucaşilespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mert Toralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kurucaşilespor's goal looked a bit too open when Mümtaz Ülküm came free, but Erkut Zor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Cernea hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Radu Isaicu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kurucaşilespor's Erkut Zor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökçek Sezen in the 37th minute of play. Erkut Zor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtaz Ülküm in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşin Çol in the 41st minute of play forced Kurucaşilespor's goalkeeper Erkut Zor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Kurucaşilespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uluç İnan to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Kurucaşilespor's Ünal Gürler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ünal Gürler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kurucaşilespor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ünal Gürler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kurucaşilespor! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Uluç İnan made the kick off in the second half. Mert Toralp hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Cezar Cernea scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Isaicu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uluç İnan in the 60th minute of play forced SAKARYA SK's goalkeeper Radu Isaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afşin Çol kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 played minutes SAKARYA SK got a freekick which was hit by Gökçek Sezen. Thanks to some nice moves Aycan Ongar could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Erkut Zor however easily saved by the left post. In the 71st match minute, Kurucaşilespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Remigio to maneuver through the defense. Erkut Zor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mümtaz Ülküm in the 73rd minute. Uluç İnan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Isaicu having to make a save. Kurucaşilespor's Erkut Zor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aycan Ongar in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Gökçek Sezen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAKARYA SK and the Kurucaşilespor players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cezar Cernea came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Kurucaşilespor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Cernea couldn't finish the play. Gökçek Sezen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walery Popowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Erkut Zor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Çol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kurucaşilespor's Erkut Zor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aycan Ongar in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kurucaşilespor's Cezar Cernea got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kurucaşilespor fans cheered their team off the field, for while SAKARYA SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
