The audience was convinced that Mümtaz Ülküm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deniz Akbaşak was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Yüreğir's Orhan Veli Raif slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radu Isaicu. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Deniz Akbaşak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aycan Ongar in the 21st minute of the match. Pavel Nedvěd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Radu Isaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aycan Ongar scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deniz Akbaşak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deniz Akbaşak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aycan Ongar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Nedvěd got free with Radu Isaicu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orhan Veli Raif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. SAKARYA SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aycan Ongar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aycan Ongar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Deniz Akbaşak firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Yüreğir's Deniz Akbaşak got control of the ball when Aycan Ongar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Yüreğir's goal looked a bit too open when Aycan Ongar came free, but Deniz Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aycan Ongar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Deniz Akbaşak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aycan Ongar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
