To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AC MILAN booed when Kurucaşilespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ünal Gürler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Fadıl Satılmış sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erkut Zor skillfully saved the ball. If Cezar Cernea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürel Tayfur's late challenge caught a Kurucaşilespor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürel Tayfur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC MILAN getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gürel Tayfur hit a great ball. AC MILAN's Deniz Yağızkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uluç İnan in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Stig-Ove McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurucaşilespor's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deniz Yağızkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uluç İnan had several of the AC MILAN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Deniz Yağızkurt as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 41st match minute, AC MILAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Isfahanlı to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uluç İnan in the 101st minute of play forced AC MILAN's goalkeeper Deniz Yağızkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurucaşilespor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
