The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tayfun Şirvan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yüreğir booed when Zengi Aslanları was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nizam Erzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Sennrich in the 65th minute of play forced Zengi Aslanları's goalkeeper Çelikan Akay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Nedvěd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zengi Aslanları's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Sennrich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Nizam Erzan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Deniz Akbaşak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Sennrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Hüseyin Tekay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zengi Aslanları and the Yüreğir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Zengi Aslanları was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzer Özaltın to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Yüreğir's Bahri Oktar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yüreğir had played much better football throughout.
