Selahaddin Akdiken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 卓宇夕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rıfat Ilgınlı in the 15th minute. Selahaddin Akdiken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loramendi Valerón in the 17th minute of the match. Caglayan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY1905 the free kick. In the 46th minute, Orhun Tengizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orhun Tengizalp to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, GALATASARAY1905's Sezai Rahim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sezai Rahim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GALATASARAY1905 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sezai Rahim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to GALATASARAY1905 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sezai Rahim hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY1905's Burkhard Kahlert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selahaddin Akdiken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Caglayan SK's goalkeeper Selahaddin Akdiken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loramendi Valerón. In the 63rd match minute, Caglayan SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Hikmettin to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Loramendi Valerón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caglayan SK's Selahaddin Akdiken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loramendi Valerón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selahaddin Akdiken having to interfere. If Loramendi Valerón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loramendi Valerón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Uğur Hikmettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓宇夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loramendi Valerón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selahaddin Akdiken having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Loramendi Valerón reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Selahaddin Akdiken. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 88th minute, Lütfullah Yalkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Burkhard Kahlert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loramendi Valerón in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selahaddin Akdiken saved Caglayan SK from getting behind. GALATASARAY1905's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
