Şerif Bilgin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaspar Bretzel's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Galatasaray FK were furious when Mert Arslanoğlu was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galatasaray FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! After having played for 18 minutes, İlyas Yavuzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İlyas Yavuzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cihan Demirman in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mecnun Umurbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şerif Bilgin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaspar Bretzel in the 35th minute of play. If Kaspar Bretzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Kaspar Bretzel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şerif Bilgin. The goal made the score 3-1. Şerif Bilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaspar Bretzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Şeref Bal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şerif Bilgin, 4-1. In the 47th minute, Kaspar Bretzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

52 minutes into the game, Galatasaray FK's İlyas Yavuzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şerif Bilgin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaspar Bretzel in the 59th minute of play forced Sultanbeyli's goalkeeper Şerif Bilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kaspar Bretzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Bretzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerif Bilgin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sultanbeyli's Hayati Acemoğlu was substituted for Hasan Tahsin Budak. Sultanbeyli made a substitution. Akil User replaced Tayyar Kırdar. Galatasaray FK's Stefan Schwarz was substituted for Işıkalp Sair. Şeref Bal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Şerif Bilgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatasaray FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
