When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bedrettin Fazilet sped through AREN SPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Utku Tolunbay. Zekeriya Lütfullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utku Tolunbay having to interfere. Utku Tolunbay made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Bedrettin Fazilet sent off a good shot on target. Van Belediye Spor Kulübü's Hüseyin Can Başöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdinç Özbek in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Bedrettin Fazilet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utku Tolunbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AREN SPOR's zone, Zekeriya Lütfullah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Utku Tolunbay came out of the goal and Zekeriya Lütfullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Bedrettin Fazilet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Belediye Spor Kulübü's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedrettin Fazilet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utku Tolunbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes AREN SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Mehdi. 39 minutes into the game, Van Belediye Spor Kulübü's Raik Özsan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Utku Tolunbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bedrettin Fazilet made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Bedrettin Fazilet made a precise shot to the right of Utku Tolunbay. AREN SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Bedrettin Fazilet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Utku Tolunbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zekeriya Lütfullah in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, AREN SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Raik Özsan came free, but Utku Tolunbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Van Belediye Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zekeriya Lütfullah hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Van Belediye Spor Kulübü players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
