Seyfi Ersayın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfi Ersayın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haldun Özgur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ferhan Boran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hadi Canay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haldun Özgur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyfi Ersayın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Dilmen Bedel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Seyfi Ersayın to make any attempt to save it. Dilmen Bedel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfi Ersayın having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Baha Tanfer got a free kick in the 36th minute. With his leg Seyfi Ersayın managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Denizlispor's Dilmen Bedel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dilmen Bedel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 46th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Denizlispor's Dilmen Bedel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyfi Ersayın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sarp Hudutspor08's Seyfi Ersayın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Özgur in the 89th minute of play.
