Osmar Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar Sarmento to make the kick off. Ertunç Safir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Danış Onuktekin in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Hayati Zeval reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ertunç Safir. The goal made the score 0-3. Gökhun Askeroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günay Neşat, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee ignored Northwind's protests and gave Cevher Oksar a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Northwind got a freekick which was hit by Cevher Oksar. Ertunç Safir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hakkı Nurullah. In the 86th match minute, Northwind was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Cigáň to maneuver through the defense. Ziya Dilhan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Günay Neşat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökhun Askeroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmar Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kordoso Karkanis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
