When Lazo Ziya fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tehlikeli Aslar's protests and gave Lazo Ziya a yellow card for diving instead. Bünyamin Uzhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mehmet Akdoğu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Ekrem Koca put in a rough tackle. Niğde FK:s Mehmet Akdoğu showed great skill when he stopped Yahya Günay:s penalty. Tehlikeli Aslar's Ahmet Hayri Arıhan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Berker Kadrettin, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Erdal Kutsalmis might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Akdoğu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erdal Kutsalmis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th match minute, Niğde FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emre İltemiz to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Akdoğu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaloyan Sakadzhiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Niğde FK got a freekick which was hit by Emre İltemiz. Brian Fitzpatrick's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hamit İçten firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Brian Fitzpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Tehlikeli Aslar got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Quintas. Hamit İçten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Fitzpatrick went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Brian Fitzpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niğde FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Fitzpatrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamit İçten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes Niğde FK got a freekick which was hit by Berker Kadrettin. In the 85th match minute, Niğde FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Kadrettin to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Brian Fitzpatrick made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tehlikeli Aslar's Hamit İçten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Niğde FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Niğde FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
