An unexpectedly hard shot by Can Üstek in the 7th minute of play forced Bandırmaspor's goalkeeper Fırat Erek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Cai Bellmunt had to leave the field with a concussion. After 8 minutes, Yaser Mengücek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandırmaspor and the Turko players grew even worse after the yellow card. Turko made a substitution. Sakut Kurtaran replaced Cai Bellmunt. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Fırat Erek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute İsmail Durul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fırat Erek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fırat Erek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 23 played minutes Bandırmaspor got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Di Clemente. With 28 minutes on the clock, Ahmet Kağan Argun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 29th match minute, Turko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kağan Argun to maneuver through the defense. Tanju Geylan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Kaxen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raşit Ortunc to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sakut Kurtaran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fırat Erek was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandırmaspor's goalkeeper Fırat Erek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bandırmaspor's zone, Sakut Kurtaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fırat Erek came out of the goal and Sakut Kurtaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Turko's Hipolito Kaxen got control of the ball when Carlo Di Clemente tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Turko had played much better football throughout.
