The audience was convinced that Robert Cucu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Stegen was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atalan Cuma in the 17th minute of play forced San Diego FC's goalkeeper Yusuf Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San Diego FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Teddy Bourasseau hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, San Diego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semail Özbir to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dainius Bagdonas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute San Diego FC were awarded a corner. Talip Ecemiş went to the cornerflag to take it. Semail Özbir scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bálint Bertha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bálint Bertha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semail Özbir in the 62nd minute of the match. Bálint Bertha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Cucu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Yusuf Stegen made a huge save. Bálint Bertha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dainius Bagdonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Teddy Bourasseau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Bálint Bertha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the MACKASPOR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Diego FC.
