In the 13th minute, Robert Cucu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MACKASPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid FC's goalkeeper Afşin Yaban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Robert Cucu made a precise shot to the right of Afşin Yaban. Real Madrid FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atalan Cuma in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afşin Yaban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Madrid FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Süleyman Tezer hit a great ball. Robert Cucu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşin Yaban having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Atalan Cuma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afşin Yaban. Real Madrid FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atalan Cuma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 45th minute, Dráusio Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Lööf to make the kick off. Real Madrid FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atalan Cuma in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afşin Yaban saved Real Madrid FC from getting behind. Bálint Bertha came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid FC's Kajetan Orling. But to his dismay, Kajetan Orling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. In the 88th match minute, Real Madrid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Hakkı Ünver to maneuver through the defense. Birger Lööf kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Çakabey Erdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Afşin Yaban made a huge save. MACKASPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
