Eusébio Viana started the match with the kick off. If Korcan Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Denizli United's Ensar Yürükoğlu got control of the ball when Eusébio Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ensar Yürükoğlu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by GaLaTaSaRaY's Eusébio Viana. But to his dismay, Eusébio Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Faik Ekabir hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Bürgehan in the 56th minute of play forced Denizli United's goalkeeper Ensar Yürükoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Eusébio Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 minutes of play, GaLaTaSaRaY's Eusébio Viana made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ensar Yürükoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korcan Sezginay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ensar Yürükoğlu having to interfere. After 78 played minutes GaLaTaSaRaY got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Bürgehan. 84 minutes into the match, Denizli United's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Viana came free, but Ensar Yürükoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ensar Yürükoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Wen Xuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Eralp Çelikel struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gunnar Lahe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denizli United. 90 minutes into the match, Dong Wen Xuan notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Denizli United's Ensar Yürükoğlu. Ensar Yürükoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denizli United's Ensar Yürükoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Viana in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Wen Xuan in the 95th minute of play forced Denizli United's goalkeeper Ensar Yürükoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
