Kol Atan started the match with the kick off. Acun Omay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emrullah Budaklı went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Kol Atan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Acun Omay. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Acun Omay should have stopped the shot. Kubilay Nurkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Acun Omay made a huge save. In the 11th minute Emrullah Budaklı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acun Omay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkut Temizel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kubilay Nurkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Acun Omay made a huge save. Kubilay Nurkan in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Acun Omay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kubilay Nurkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Acun Omay made a huge save. In the 20th minute, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Emrullah Budaklı ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Acun Omay. Acun Omay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Wesley de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Sungurhan Özdek. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Acun Omay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emrullah Budaklı's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Kubilay Nurkan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Acun Omay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Kubilay Nurkan took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Acun Omay to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.
