Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5763, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Barbaros Avşaroğlu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by San Gwann Birlik's Zülfü Gürgen. But to his dismay, Zülfü Gürgen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th minute Wasyl Cwynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Avşaroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, San Gwann Birlik's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Suárez came free, but Asım Merih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asım Merih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Suárez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, 3liteperformance's Luís Suárez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asım Merih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, 3liteperformance's goalkeeper Barbaros Avşaroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terkild Knoop. Zülfü Gürgens short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Barbaros Avşaroğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barbaros Avşaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Cwynar in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Wasyl Cwynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Gwann Birlik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wasyl Cwynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, 3liteperformance's Barbaros Avşaroğlu got control of the ball when Zülfü Gürgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barbaros Avşaroğlu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zülfü Gürgen sent off a good shot on target. Evren Dinç kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Zülfü Gürgen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barbaros Avşaroğlu. 3liteperformance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfü Gürgen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. San Gwann Birlik's Gazanfer Özcan Kutalmış was substituted for Terkild Knoop. San Gwann Birlik's Mariusz Kocieniewski was substituted for Zülfü Gürgen. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Suárez was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute of the match San Gwann Birlik got a corner. 3liteperformance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ender Turcan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ender Turcan made a great header on San Gwann Birlik's corner, it was just that 3liteperformance's Barbaros Avşaroğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. 63 minutes into the match, Mariusz Kocieniewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barbaros Avşaroğlu. 3liteperformance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariusz Kocieniewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ender Turcan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. San Gwann Birlik's Ali Vedat Ongul was substituted for Wasyl Cwynar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Vedat Ongul in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barbaros Avşaroğlu saved 3liteperformance from getting behind. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ali Vedat Ongul sped through 3liteperformance's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barbaros Avşaroğlu. In the 75th minute, Mariusz Kocieniewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barbaros Avşaroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 79 minutes into the match, 3liteperformance's Ümit Sebuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asım Merih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Furkan Atabek kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Evren Dinç hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ali Vedat Ongul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Gwann Birlik's goalkeeper Asım Merih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariusz Kocieniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Barbaros Avşaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barbaros Avşaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Vedat Ongul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corneel Marant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Merih having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Gwann Birlik had played much better football throughout.
