When Afşin Derem came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afşin Derem couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Afşin Derem could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Saverio Urquijo however easily saved by the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Kostas Stathakos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lion FC's Ufuk Rasih. Ufuk Rasih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saverio Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hızır Dilazad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ufuk Rasih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Stathakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Afşin Derem. 55 minutes into the match, Lion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Stathakos came free, but Ufuk Rasih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lion FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DMR Futbol AŞ's performance. The match ended with a win for DMR Futbol AŞ.
