Vahur Öösalu in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Haikin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Vahur Öösalu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the BraveHearts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahur Öösalu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorukhan Yorgun in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Haikin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Alişan Bardakçıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merzifon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BraveHearts the free kick. After 9 played minutes Merzifon got a freekick which was hit by Alişan Bardakçıoğlu. Igor Haikin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorukhan Yorgun's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Vahur Öösalu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Igor Haikin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BraveHearts. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vahur Öösalu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Igor Haikin to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Vahur Öösalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahur Öösalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Haikin having to interfere. Vahur Öösalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merzifon's Igor Haikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorukhan Yorgun in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorukhan Yorgun in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Haikin saved Merzifon from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Merzifon's Abdulaziz Köksal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Muslera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BraveHearts's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vahur Öösalu in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BraveHearts's zone, Tekin Özkul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Muslera came out of the goal and Tekin Özkul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorukhan Yorgun succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Igor Haikin was a little too slow when Vahur Öösalu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Merzifon's goalkeeper Igor Haikin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ahmet İlhan Kutlu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merzifon's protests and gave Ahmet İlhan Kutlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Merzifon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet İlhan Kutlu to maneuver through the defense. After 46th play minutes Dorukhan Yorgun shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Igor Haikin and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The wind increased when Vahur Öösalu made the kick off in the second half. BraveHearts's Vahur Öösalu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Haikin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorukhan Yorgun's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on BraveHearts's corner Vahur Öösalu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Haikin quite easily take care of the ball. After 55 minutes Merzifon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vahur Öösalu who took care of the corner kick. Vahur Öösalu made a great header on BraveHearts's corner, it was just that Merzifon's Igor Haikin managed to reach the ball for a save. Igor Haikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahur Öösalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With 59 minutes on the clock, Hilmi Zihni commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in BraveHearts fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Merzifon's Rosen Dal after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for BraveHearts's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 5-1. Merzifon's Igor Haikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencalp Okanay in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Merzifon's zone, Vahur Öösalu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Haikin came out of the goal and Vahur Öösalu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BraveHearts's Saadettin Dağhan got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Rosen Dal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tekin Özkul kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Vahur Öösalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragıp Ilıca hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Tekin Özkul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vahur Öösalu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BraveHearts's supporters rose to their feet, but Vahur Öösalu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Haikin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Walery Sanocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Haikin was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Merzifon's Igor Haikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahur Öösalu in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes, Ragıp Ilıca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merzifon and the BraveHearts players grew even worse after the yellow card.
