In the 2nd minute, Samir Tayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, TRC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu came free, but Zikri Tunçboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TRC FC booed when Mühendisbey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Necati Yürük didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirkelam Erşahan in the 7th minute of play. If Mirkelam Erşahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the TRC FC defense, Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zikri Tunçboğa. The TRC FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zikri Tunçboğa should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Mühendisbey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekber Oksu to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, TRC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğukan Demirhan to maneuver through the defense. Zikri Tunçboğa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, TRC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Acunalp came free, but Zikri Tunçboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hasret Acunalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zikri Tunçboğa was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Zikri Tunçboğa came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mühendisbey's Nazım Karahan. But to his dismay, Nazım Karahan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Mirkelam Erşahan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaşar Ongun during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Yaşar Ongun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zikri Tunçboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasret Acunalp got free with Zikri Tunçboğa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nazım Karahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zikri Tunçboğa made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Hasret Acunalp sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zikri Tunçboğa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mühendisbey. Zikri Tunçboğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hafiz Akıncıbeyoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Hasret Acunalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mühendisbey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 60 played minutes TRC FC got a freekick which was hit by Doğukan Demirhan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasret Acunalp in the 67th minute of play forced TRC FC's goalkeeper Zikri Tunçboğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zikri Tunçboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasret Acunalp in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mirkelam Erşahan managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirkelam Erşahan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Gernberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the TRC FC defense, Hasret Acunalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zikri Tunçboğa. The TRC FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zikri Tunçboğa should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Mühendisbey's Hasret Acunalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zikri Tunçboğa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Zikri Tunçboğa came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mühendisbey's Hasret Acunalp. But to his dismay, Hasret Acunalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Sami Geylan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Karahan in the 94th minute of play forced TRC FC's goalkeeper Zikri Tunçboğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
