Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 150) Merzifon's Fetih Boysan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Çağlar Dölek struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Igor Haikin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midyat. In the 9th match minute, Merzifon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Varol Tigin to maneuver through the defense. Ragıp Ilıca's late challenge caught a Midyat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ragıp Ilıca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Merzifon's Ragıp Ilıca got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Hatemi Himmet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Haikin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Merzifon's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emrah Bahçıvan came free, but Igor Haikin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Haikin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağlar Dölek in the 17th minute of play. Poyraz Karay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fetih Boysan in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Merzifon defense, Çağlar Dölek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Haikin. The Merzifon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Haikin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Merzifon booed when Midyat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şemsettin Korur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şemsettin Korur charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şemsettin Korur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Şemsettin Korur kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rosen Dal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Poyraz Karay. Midyat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Fetih Boysan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Merzifon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fetih Boysan couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Fetih Boysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poyraz Karay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şemsettin Korur hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Igor Haikin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çağlar Dölek in the 91st minute. If Abdulaziz Köksal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emrah Bahçıvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Igor Haikin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Midyat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
