But to his dismay, Tales Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Tales Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Haikin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Castro in the 21st minute. Tekin Özkul hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ragıp Ilıca hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Merzifon's goalkeeper Igor Haikin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Castro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Perón in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Haikin saved Merzifon from getting behind. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE İSTANBUL booed when Merzifon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragıp Ilıca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merzifon's Igor Haikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Perón in the 65th minute of play. Lemi Sarphan's late challenge caught a Merzifon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merzifon's Igor Haikin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müslüm Hirfanlı in the 71st minute of play. Igor Haikin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Müslüm Hirfanlı went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Tales Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Haikin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Fetih Boysan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Igor Haikin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the FENERBAHÇE İSTANBUL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
