In the 38th minute of the match, Şükrü Tulum tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferman Tunçkurt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aydin Yanchovski's late challenge caught a Arnavutköy Belediye Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferman Tunçkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Tulum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şükrü Tulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ferman Tunçkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alex De Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferman Tunçkurt was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Catalpinar JK had played much better football throughout.
