To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Niğdespor booed when Kocaali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Kemal Ulutaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, kaya Geylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Kadri Cebir was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Niğdespor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Özalp İlkcan charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özalp İlkcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Özalp İlkcan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Turabi Mikail to strike the kick off in the second half. Erdoğan Revha kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Nusret Bağcıoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salih Özker. Kocaali's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Özer Akartürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayyar Talaz in the 95th minute.
