After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Alemdar Erdemir got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Necaettin Tuncer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the ERENEVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necaettin Tuncer couldn't finish the play. Necaettin Tuncer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hürkan İftihar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Necaettin Tuncer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hürkan İftihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necaettin Tuncer in the 15th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Hürkan İftihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ERENEVA's Eyüp Şahbender got a free kick in the 16th minute. Borussia Dortmund's Hürkan İftihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arın As in the 20th minute of play. If Necaettin Tuncer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Fikri Cansun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Nicklas Garmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicklas Garmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kağan Cihanser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kağan Cihanser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Erdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borussia Dortmund's Hürkan İftihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necaettin Tuncer in the 29th minute of play. Kağan Cihanser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Erdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kağan Cihanser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Oriol in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Alemdar Erdemir notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ERENEVA's Kağan Cihanser. Kağan Cihanser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Alemdar Erdemir came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alemdar Erdemir couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the game, Sadri Tunçaslan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERENEVA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, ERENEVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadri Tunçaslan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Battal Akbel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Akbel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes ERENEVA got a freekick which was hit by Arın As. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikri Cansun made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Battal Akbel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kağan Cihanser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hürkan İftihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necaettin Tuncer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, ERENEVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazım Akartuna to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Necaettin Tuncer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hürkan İftihar. Necaettin Tuncer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 65th minute, Alemdar Erdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kağan Cihanser was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Kağan Cihanser came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Alemdar Erdemir. But to his dismay, Alemdar Erdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Kağan Cihanser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Oriol in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of ERENEVA booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikri Cansun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arın As took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hürkan İftihar. Hürkan İftihar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Kağan Cihanser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Akbel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arın As sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The coaching staff of Borussia Dortmund protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmet Çağrı Cire had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ahmet Çağrı Cire hit a great ball. 93 minutes in the game Davut Ağın after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Hürkan İftihar. A very good opportunity. Borussia Dortmund were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ERENEVA for a fine match.
