Vacid Akyazıcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Baysungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nejat Baysungur in the 6th minute of play forced Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Khalkedon FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Baysungur came free, but Vacid Akyazıcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Khalkedon FK defense, Battal Uluman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. The Khalkedon FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vacid Akyazıcı should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in VAKFIKEBİR FC's zone, Ahmet Hayri Özkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulusi Sabuncu came out of the goal and Ahmet Hayri Özkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of VAKFIKEBİR FC booed when Khalkedon FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayhan İnciroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Mümtazer Baytüze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khalkedon FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VAKFIKEBİR FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Khalkedon FK's Mümtazer Baytüze got a free kick in the 20th minute. The long shot by Ulu Müjdat in the 21st minute really tested Vacid Akyazıcı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Doğuş Barlas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Khalkedon FK from getting a goal against them. If Ahmet Hayri Özkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ali Nejat Baysungur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vacid Akyazıcı was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Vacid Akyazıcı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Uluman in the 39th minute. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Khalkedon FK from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Ali Nejat Baysungur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Akyazıcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 58th minute, Bumin Türkol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ayhan İnciroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khalkedon FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayhan İnciroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulusi Sabuncu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ayhan İnciroğlu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulusi Sabuncu saved VAKFIKEBİR FC from getting behind. Garip Toper hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Battal Uluman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Akyazıcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Berkan Paksan from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Hulusi Sabuncu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Garip Toper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vacid Akyazıcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Garip Ümit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. Khalkedon FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garip Ümit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nejat Baysungur in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Khalkedon FK's goal looked a bit too open when Garip Toper came free, but Vacid Akyazıcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nejat Baysungur scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Nejat Baysungur hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Ahmet Hayri Özkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulusi Sabuncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VAKFIKEBİR FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
