Vacid Akyazıcı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Khalkedon FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Seyfi Sadri hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Khalkedon FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkan Paksan to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Kağan Özok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. Khalkedon FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kağan Özok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 minutes of play, Elazizspor's Wilfredo Bengolea made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vacid Akyazıcı was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Bengolea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. But to his dismay, Kağan Özok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Kis in the 36th minute of play forced Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Khalkedon FK's zone, Wilfredo Bengolea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vacid Akyazıcı came out of the goal and Wilfredo Bengolea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zsolt Kis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vacid Akyazıcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Khalkedon FK's zone, Wilfredo Bengolea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vacid Akyazıcı came out of the goal and Wilfredo Bengolea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vacid Akyazıcı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kağan Özok in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ayhan İnciroğlu made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kağan Özok got free with Vacid Akyazıcı in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Khalkedon FK from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Bengolea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vacid Akyazıcı. Wilfredo Bengolea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The supporters of Elazizspor booed when Khalkedon FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkan Paksan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vacid Akyazıcı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zsolt Kis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vacid Akyazıcı made a huge save. Kağan Özok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Bengolea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vacid Akyazıcı made a huge save. Vacid Akyazıcı came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Elazizspor's Zsolt Kis. But to his dismay, Zsolt Kis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Elazizspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Khalkedon FK.
