Sakut Arıtan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from İsa Erçelik in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eagles Of Anatolia's Yusuf İslamoğlu. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund BVB's Taner Ethem got control of the ball when Mustafa Emrah Kaan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taner Ethem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahadırhan Siddik in the 26th minute of the match. Taner Ethem came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Eagles Of Anatolia's Sakut Arıtan. But to his dismay, Sakut Arıtan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Taner Ethem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakut Arıtan in the 34th minute. Taner Ethem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahadırhan Siddik in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes in the game, Bahadırhan Siddik dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund BVB's goalkeeper Taner Ethem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sakut Arıtan. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bahadırhan Siddik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute, İrfan Soysaltürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Eagles Of Anatolia got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Onur Peker. After a rather tough play, Eagles Of Anatolia's Hakkı Onur Peker got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Eagles Of Anatolia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencer Secaat to maneuver through the defense.
