In the 5th match minute, Genç FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeki Kutberk to maneuver through the defense. Manisa United's Bülent Turay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hando Lillemets in the 7th minute of play. Hayrettin Tekrim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Ragnar Rebane skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 15 minutes into the match, Hando Lillemets notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Manisa United's Bülent Turay. Bülent Turay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Charly Uchiha sped through Genç FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ragnar Rebane. Bülent Turay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybar İdrisoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Stasio Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Rebane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hayrettin Tekrim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ragnar Rebane. That made the score 3-1 in the 25 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charly Uchiha in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ragnar Rebane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genç FK's Ragnar Rebane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Tekrim in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Genç FK got a freekick which was hit by Hando Lillemets. In the 36th minute, Hando Lillemets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Genç FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 39 minutes into the game, Aybar İdrisoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Bülent Turay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Genç FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrettin Tekrim came free, but Ragnar Rebane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hayrettin Tekrim was the one to do the kick off. Stasio Bartoszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ragnar Rebane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Tekrim in the 55th minute of play forced Genç FK's goalkeeper Ragnar Rebane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Oğuz Eldemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Rebane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manisa United booed when Genç FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdülhak Şendoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bülent Turay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hando Lillemets, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Genç FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrettin Tekrim came free, but Ragnar Rebane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bülent Turay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadırhan Okdemir in the 70th minute. Ragnar Rebane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Tekrim in the 73rd minute of play. Bülent Turay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hando Lillemets in the 78th minute of the match. Tunç Soyselçuk hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Manisa United's Hayrettin Tekrim in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th minute, Hando Lillemets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Tunç Soyselçuk put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Genç FK booed when Manisa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tunç Soyselçuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hando Lillemets might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bülent Turay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hando Lillemets ran back to his position shaking his head. Bahadırhan Okdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Aybar İdrisoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bülent Turay. The goal made the score 3-5. When the final whistle sounded Genç FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manisa United.
