The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ges FK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ferit Balkoç hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, BYRMGLN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Bozbora to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind BYRMGLN's goalkeeper Armandinho Araújo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cemil Yesari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho Araújo having to make a save. After 8 minutes, Şehzade Tecer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ges FK and the BYRMGLN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Orhan Seyfi Bayraktaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BYRMGLN's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Seyfi Bayraktaroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Imran Jøttrup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Arif Nurdag hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, BYRMGLN's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Andreassi came free, but Armandinho Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ges FK's Imran Jøttrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Erzincanlı in the 23rd minute of play. After 32 minutes, Erman Göktepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BYRMGLN and the Ges FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BYRMGLN! Cemil Yesari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Armandinho Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemil Yesari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Andreassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Araújo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferit Balkoç was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Arif Nurdag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The supporters of Ges FK booed when BYRMGLN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiğit Bozbora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferit Balkoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Ferit Balkoç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BYRMGLN's Armandinho Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
