After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Hazım Erengüç managed to get in a good position for a shot. COLDPLAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Hazım Erengüç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Tarasek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Hazım Erengüç lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Wiktor Tarasek. After a rather tough play, COLDPLAY's Sertaç Akçan got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Kütahya JK got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Conti. The crowd rose to their feet as COLDPLAY's Hazım Erengüç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wiktor Tarasek. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Hazım Erengüç from a close distance when the talented Wiktor Tarasek managed to make a qualified save. Kütahya JK's players were relieved. When Cankut Taşdan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the COLDPLAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cankut Taşdan couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Kütahya JK's goal looked a bit too open when Sertaç Akçan came free, but Wiktor Tarasek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dániel Grósz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Tarasek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hazım Erengüç's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Wiktor Tarasek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazım Erengüç, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. COLDPLAY's Samir Bakkalbaşıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Fulgenzi in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kütahya JK's zone, Hazım Erengüç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Tarasek came out of the goal and Hazım Erengüç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kütahya JK booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cankut Taşdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Conti to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cankut Taşdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COLDPLAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kütahya JK the free kick. After 51 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Cankut Taşdan. In the 54thth minute of the game Flavio Conti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLDPLAY's Samir Bakkalbaşıoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kütahya JK's Wiktor Tarasek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dániel Grósz in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Dániel Grósz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hazım Erengüç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wiktor Tarasek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Cankut Taşdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Tarasek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Conti hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kütahya JK booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cankut Taşdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samir Bakkalbaşıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Conti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Kütahya JK got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Fulgenzi. In the 84th minute Flavio Conti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samir Bakkalbaşıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Kütahya JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of COLDPLAY:s goal. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for COLDPLAY. Dániel Grósz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wiktor Tarasek. 3-1. Wiktor Tarasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cankut Taşdan in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match COLDPLAY got a corner. Kütahya JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dániel Grósz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vahdet Türkdoğan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Hazım Erengüç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. COLDPLAY fully deserved thier win.
