When Turan Uluçam came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the COLDPLAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turan Uluçam couldn't finish the play. If Cankut Taşdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dániel Grósz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Oğuzalp İnan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuri Toktimur charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuri Toktimur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Köycegiz getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nuri Toktimur hit a great ball. Tuna İrfan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Oğuzalp İnan made a huge save. Köycegiz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuna İrfan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. COLDPLAY's Cankut Taşdan got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sertaç Akçan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COLDPLAY's protests and gave Sertaç Akçan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Köycegiz booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sertaç Akçan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şenel Özaktuğ struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Oğuzalp İnan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLDPLAY. Ferdi Mecnun kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cankut Taşdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oğuzalp İnan having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Köycegiz's goal looked a bit too open when Cankut Taşdan came free, but Oğuzalp İnan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuna İrfan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Turan Uluçam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzalp İnan came out of the goal and Turan Uluçam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oğuzalp İnan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turan Uluçam in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aygün Selman to strike the kick off in the second half. Oğuzalp İnan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turan Uluçam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oğuzalp İnan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by COLDPLAY's Cankut Taşdan. But to his dismay, Cankut Taşdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Tuna İrfan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzalp İnan came out of the goal and Tuna İrfan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Köycegiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Garipoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Tuna İrfan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COLDPLAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some careless play in the Köycegiz defense, Dániel Grósz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oğuzalp İnan. The Köycegiz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oğuzalp İnan should have stopped the shot. Cankut Taşdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turan Uluçam in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuzalp İnan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oğuzalp İnan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turan Uluçam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Bakkalbaşıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özen Garipoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. There was no doubt that COLDPLAY were the better team. COLDPLAY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
