Bolvadin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayat the free kick. A collision led to Bolvadin getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ali Behzat Akarslan hit a great ball. Tarık Sözer kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Bolvadin's Mustafa Ali Sadiray threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Selami Kutsalmis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Bayat booed when Bolvadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güngör Safvetullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Selami Kutsalmis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ziya Soysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Canbulat having to interfere. With his leg Mustafa Ali Sadiray managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Bolvadin's Refik Kotuzhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Namık Kemal Öktuna in the 22nd minute of play forced Bolvadin's goalkeeper Tuncer Canbulat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Selami Kutsalmis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ali Sadiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Ali Sadiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Kutsalmis in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Bolvadin getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Selami Kutsalmis hit a great ball. Tuncer Canbulat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal Öktuna in the 35th minute of the match. If Namık Kemal Öktuna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match Selami Ersever shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tuncer Canbulat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Namık Kemal Öktuna in the 47th minute of play forced Bolvadin's goalkeeper Tuncer Canbulat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selami Kutsalmis was the one to do the kick off. Namık Kemal Öktuna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuncer Canbulat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Selami Kutsalmis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolvadin's supporters rose to their feet, but Selami Kutsalmis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Ali Sadiray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Refik Kotuzhan scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Ali Sadiray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bayat players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
