The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Süruri Onatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wiktor Tarasek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Conti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sertaç Özkutay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Attilio Fulgenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Flavio Conti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sertaç Özkutay, 3-2. 3-3 became the score in the 44th minute when Süruri Onatsu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Wiktor Tarasek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süruri Onatsu in the 89th minute of play forced Kütahya JK's goalkeeper Wiktor Tarasek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kütahya JK's Orbay Ayman got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirkelam Şenalp during the 93rd minute.
