When Cenan Yavuzcan fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birtanem FC's protests and gave Cenan Yavuzcan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ArtvinHodspor booed when Birtanem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenan Yavuzcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rıdvan Bedi came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by ArtvinHodspor's Sertel Yamanöz. But to his dismay, Sertel Yamanöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Birtanem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Arif Sarper came free, but Rıdvan Bedi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Murathan Şemsifer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birtanem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murathan Şemsifer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baki Hacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rıdvan Bedi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aziz Aynacı went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Seyrani Ekiner hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sertel Yamanöz scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıdvan Bedi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rıdvan Bedi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sertel Yamanöz in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Mehmet Arif Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan Bedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Arif Sarper scored 0-7 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıdvan Bedi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertel Yamanöz in the 38th minute of play forced Birtanem FC's goalkeeper Rıdvan Bedi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, ArtvinHodspor's Aziz Aynacı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rıdvan Bedi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Mehmet Arif Sarper scored 0-10 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıdvan Bedi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Sertel Yamanöz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 55th playminute. 61 minutes into the match, Sertel Yamanöz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rıdvan Bedi, 0-12. In the 66th minute, ArtvinHodspor's Aziz Aynacı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. With an all-out effort, ArtvinHodspor's Rıdvan Bedi threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bedrettin Karadağ, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as ArtvinHodspor's Sertel Yamanöz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rıdvan Bedi. That made the score 0-14 after 71 minutes of play. Rıdvan Bedi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Sarper, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Birtanem FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bedrettin Karadağ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-16. After 90 minutes, Bedrettin Karadağ made it 0-17 with a short kick to the right side. Birtanem FC's Rıdvan Bedi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ArtvinHodspor's Bedrettin Karadağ got a free kick in the 96th minute. ArtvinHodspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
