The audience thought a goal was coming when Fetih Tugal got free with Şakir Dilhan in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Songurbey Yurtsever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Şakir Dilhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Songurbey Yurtsever reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şakir Dilhan. The goal made the score 1-0. After 26 minutes, Öztürk Kocak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mensis Miles and the Birtanem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Mensis Miles got a freekick which was hit by Öztürk Kocak. After 32 played minutes Birtanem FC got a freekick which was hit by Çakabey Çağlar. If Onur Tura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Birtanem FC's Cenan Yavuzcan got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Güneş Kutlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murathan Şemsifer skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Birtanem FC's Songurbey Yurtsever ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Şakir Dilhan. Birtanem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mensis Miles the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Songurbey Yurtsever was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer got control of the ball when Onur Tura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Songurbey Yurtsever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Dilhan having to interfere. The supporters of Birtanem FC booed when Mensis Miles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
