In the 8th minute, Batıkent FK's Aras Durukan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeo Furman. Romeo Furman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sungur Civanbaht kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Kurniawan Wahono took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Okaner Rezan. Okaner Rezan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Okaner Rezan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Oskarbi in the 23rd minute of play. Kurniawan Wahono scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Okaner Rezan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurniawan Wahono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Batıkent FK's Ege Baştürk got a free kick in the 38th minute. Çakabey Niğdeli hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Batıkent FK got a freekick which was hit by Aras Durukan. Batıkent FK's Okaner Rezan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Oskarbi in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurniawan Wahono to make the kick off. Pasabahce FK's Kurniawan Wahono came free and shot a quick shot against goal 61 minutes in the game, fortunately Okaner Rezan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 66th match minute, Batıkent FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çakabey Niğdeli to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pasabahce FK booed when Batıkent FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baykam Sezgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okaner Rezan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Batıkent FK's Aras Durukan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Furman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Batıkent FK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Murat Selim Mutlusoy hit a great ball. Sungur Civanbaht struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Okaner Rezan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasabahce FK. A collision led to Pasabahce FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ardahan Elçi hit a great ball. Behram Uğurtan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sungur Civanbaht got free with Okaner Rezan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pasabahce FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pasabahce FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
