Güneş Kutlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferid Songur's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Mensis Miles's Tansel Zübeyr got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ahmet Göktuğ Eker notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mensis Miles's Güneş Kutlan. Güneş Kutlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferid Songur made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ferid Songur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Güneş Kutlan. Ferid Songur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Güneş Kutlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Eker went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Ferid Songur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Güneş Kutlan. The goal made the score 0-6. Birant Akkaynak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ferid Songur scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güneş Kutlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferid Songur in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Güneş Kutlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Göktuğ Eker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güneş Kutlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferid Songur in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Güneş Kutlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Ferid Songur sped through Mensis Miles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Güneş Kutlan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Çağrı Ezgü in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güneş Kutlan saved Mensis Miles from getting behind. When İldeniz Necmi fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mensis Miles's protests and gave İldeniz Necmi a yellow card for diving instead. İldeniz Necmi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Güneş Kutlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyhan Öktemer in the 89th minute. Mensis Miles's Güneş Kutlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mensis Miles from getting a goal against them. Güneş Kutlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abuzer Behzat went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mensis Miles's Tansel Zübeyr got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Ahmet Göktuğ Eker came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Göktuğ Eker couldn't finish the play. Ferid Songur's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Güneş Kutlan firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Mensis Miles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
