The supporters of Birtanem FC booed when şarköyspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güvenç Dilhun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute İhsan Arpacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murathan Şemsifer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Birtanem FC's protests and gave Çakabey Çağlar a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Birtanem FC got a freekick which was hit by Çakabey Çağlar. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-3 when İhsan Arpacı sped through Birtanem FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murathan Şemsifer. şarköyspor's Lütfi Özek got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, şarköyspor's goalkeeper Tayyip Özaltın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Songurbey Yurtsever. Hasan Ali Bayrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tayyip Özaltın made a huge save. Murathan Şemsifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfi Özek, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 44 minutes, İhsan Arpacı made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Birtanem FC's Murathan Şemsifer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ejder İlkcan was the one to do the kick off. In the 81st minute, İhsan Arpacı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İhsan Arpacı had several of the Birtanem FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Murathan Şemsifer as he didn't even see the shot coming. şarköyspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
