Gencalp Korucu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi. But to his dismay, Arif Memduh Nabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Memduh Nabi in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gencalp Korucu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arif Memduh Nabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gencalp Korucu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gencalp Korucu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Memduh Nabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Camargo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gencalp Korucu. Iskitler SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erhan Zişan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arif Memduh Nabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencalp Korucu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Arif Memduh Nabi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gencalp Korucu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mechanic Athletic Club. 41 minutes into the match, Arif Memduh Nabi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Iskitler SK's Gencalp Korucu. Gencalp Korucu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Arif Memduh Nabi made a precise shot to the right of Gencalp Korucu. Iskitler SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Iskitler SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mechanic Athletic Club were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zafer Sebih to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Arif Memduh Nabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gencalp Korucu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Engin Kurboga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Gencalp Korucu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gencalp Korucu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Arif Memduh Nabi sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Iskitler SK defense, Arif Memduh Nabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencalp Korucu. The Iskitler SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencalp Korucu should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes of play, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gencalp Korucu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Arif Memduh Nabi lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Gencalp Korucu. The supporters of Mechanic Athletic Club booed when Iskitler SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhan Zişan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arif Memduh Nabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zafer Sebih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iskitler SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Zafer Sebih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Münir Usbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Mechanic Athletic Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iskitler SK.
