Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5835, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) Arif Memduh Nabi made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Arif Memduh Nabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seçkin Eroğul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes SOMINECO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baycan Saru who took care of the corner kick. Çağan Bayraktaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Hayati Tüzmen made a precise shot to the right of Seçkin Eroğul. SOMINECO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Münir Usbay came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SOMINECO's Olaf Niemojewski. But to his dismay, Olaf Niemojewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 17th minute, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seçkin Eroğul. Seçkin Eroğul yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Münir Usbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Niemojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayati Tüzmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Münir Usbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Bulă in the 30th minute of the match. Mechanic Athletic Club's Münir Usbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Niemojewski in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match SOMINECO got a corner. Mechanic Athletic Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eyüp Erbatur ran over to the corner to take the kick. 44 minutes into the match, SOMINECO's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Nabi came free, but Seçkin Eroğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seçkin Eroğul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Memduh Nabi's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Gelu Bulă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gelu Bulă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Aykut Masum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seçkin Eroğul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match Mechanic Athletic Club got a corner. SOMINECO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seçkin Eroğul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. SOMINECO's Seçkin Eroğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayati Tüzmen in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Çağan Bayraktaroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechanic Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Olaf Niemojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gelu Bulă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Münir Usbay firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mechanic Athletic Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eyüp Erbatur was slow to take the kick. During this time SOMINECO's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Eyüp Erbatur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mechanic Athletic Club's Münir Usbay did a great save. In the 79th minute, Arif Memduh Nabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechanic Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. If Gelu Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seçkin Eroğul was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aykut Masum took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seçkin Eroğul. Seçkin Eroğul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. The supporters of SOMINECO booed when Mechanic Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşmet Tuğtaşı didn't get a good kick on the ball.
