Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Turhan in the 11th minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Turhan in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Turhan came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilmi Türkoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Teles having to make a save. GALATASARAY's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 34 in the game by Arın Turhan from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Barovero managed to make a qualified save. GALATASARAY's players were relieved. 38 minutes into the match, Ramón de Sena notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GALATASARAY's Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toninho Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Demirdelen in the 44th minute of the match. Arın Turhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hacı Demirdelen made a kick off. Ramón de Sena took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arın Turhan in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilmi Türkoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Teles having to interfere. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón de Sena in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Turhan in the 64th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Ramón de Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. GALATASARAY SK's Edžus Ropas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Batuhan Özsu in the 70 minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Arın Turhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Toninho Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Demirdelen in the 75th minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY SK's Arın Turhan. But to his dismay, Arın Turhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 82 minutes, Güneri Azer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the GALATASARAY SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Güneri Azer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, GALATASARAY SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkın Aydınalp to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Turhan in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Turhan came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón de Sena hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GALATASARAY SK had played much better football throughout.
