Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arın Turhan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Ali Kürşat Tokgöz threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALATASARAY SK's Klement Osikowicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Acha in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Teles saved GALATASARAY SK from getting behind. Toninho Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alptuğ Uludoğan in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Edžus Ropas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafim Cruz skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th match minute, sahinspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gani Acartürk to maneuver through the defense. Serafim Cruz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GALATASARAY SK's Ramón de Sena shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, sahinspor's Ali Kürşat Tokgöz got a free kick in the 28th minute. Serafim Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Turhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Toninho Teles was a little too slow when Alptuğ Uludoğan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-2. After some careless play in the sahinspor defense, Klement Osikowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafim Cruz. The sahinspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafim Cruz should have stopped the shot. Toninho Teles came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by sahinspor's Alptuğ Uludoğan. But to his dismay, Alptuğ Uludoğan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 46th minute Arın Turhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Alkan Hacıfettahoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sahinspor the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in GALATASARAY SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Acha was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Alptuğ Uludoğan came free, but Toninho Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of sahinspor booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Barlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdullatif Engintalay, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. GALATASARAY SK's Toninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Acha in the 70th minute of play. Arın Turhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Cruz having to interfere. With a little luck, sahinspor's Serafim Cruz got control of the ball when Arın Turhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toninho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullatif Engintalay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Ramón de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Serafim Cruz. sahinspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. GALATASARAY SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
