Thanks to some nice moves Hasan Ali Erdurmus could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Seçkin Eroğul however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute, Mir Güzel made a precise shot to the right of Gencalp Korucu. Iskitler SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 43rd minute Mir Güzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencalp Korucu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iskitler SK's Gencalp Korucu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Niemojewski in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Niemojewski was the one to do the kick off. Kutalp Yerhum's late challenge caught a SOMINECO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kutalp Yerhum helped the player get up and apologised.
