GREENPEACE's Elói Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsnü Ergök in the 11th minute of play. Elói Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasret Önel in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Hasret Önel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAYBURT UNİTED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasret Önel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Genco Pirane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the GREENPEACE defense, Bayındır Mehmet Kamer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Faria. The GREENPEACE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Faria should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necaettin Dürüst in the 24th minute of play forced GREENPEACE's goalkeeper Elói Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Melih Çiftçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Ertan Doğan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikola Panák. Ertan Doğan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Hüsnü Ergök scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elói Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genco Pirane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Genco Pirane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, BAYBURT UNİTED's Bayındır Mehmet Kamer made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elói Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes GREENPEACE got a freekick which was hit by Ertan Doğan. 45 minutes into the game, Hüsnü Ergök cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Elói Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Bayındır Mehmet Kamer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elói Faria. The goal made the score 1-7. After 59 played minutes GREENPEACE got a freekick which was hit by Miloslav Lagron. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-9 when Melih Çiftçi sped through GREENPEACE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elói Faria. The supporters of BAYBURT UNİTED booed when GREENPEACE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Roekeloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Melih Çiftçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Melih Çiftçi took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Elói Faria to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute, BAYBURT UNİTED's Hüsnü Ergök ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elói Faria. Elói Faria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. The supporters of GREENPEACE booed when BAYBURT UNİTED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Mehmet Kamer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Zachary Mnich sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikola Panák skillfully saved the ball. Melih Çiftçi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elói Faria. GREENPEACE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, GREENPEACE's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsnü Ergök came free, but Elói Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elói Faria made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bayındır Mehmet Kamer sent off a good shot on target. BAYBURT UNİTED played a much better game than GREENPEACE and deserved their victory. The GREENPEACE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
