After a rather tough play, GREENPEACE's Özgür Turgut got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute, Ali Ömer Sadiray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denizhan Ertaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birsel Batır in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute GREENPEACE were awarded a corner. Cevdet Bahçıvan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to GREENPEACE's Yunus Şentürk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of ANKA booed when GREENPEACE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Ömer Sadiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil Can Tapgaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denizhan Ertaş having to make a save. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by ANKA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cevdet Bahçıvan was slow to take the kick. During this time GREENPEACE's players had a chance to rest. Cevdet Bahçıvan made a great header on GREENPEACE's corner, it was just that ANKA's Denizhan Ertaş managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, GREENPEACE's Ahmet Ziya İlsu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Denizhan Ertaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halil Can Tapgaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Cevdet Bahçıvan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denizhan Ertaş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of ANKA booed when GREENPEACE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yunus Şentürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Haldun Ozaner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Mihădaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, GREENPEACE's Birsel Batır made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denizhan Ertaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Matxin to make the kick off. When Bonifacio Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the ANKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Matxin couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes GREENPEACE got a freekick which was hit by Miloslav Lagron. After a rather tough play, ANKA's Horea Şteflea got a free kick in the 59th minute. Teodor Mihădaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Ozaner in the 69th minute of play. Bedrettin Huzur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play, ANKA's Bedrettin Huzur made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodor Mihădaș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodor Mihădaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, GREENPEACE's Yunus Şentürk got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Haldun Ozaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Haldun Ozaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Mihădaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
