In the 9th minute Halil Can Tapgaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute GREENPEACE were awarded a corner. Cevdet Bahçıvan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to GREENPEACE's Ahmet Ziya İlsu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 15th minute Halil Can Tapgaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Birsel Batır made a precise shot to the right of Özgün Hamurcu. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Özgün Hamurcu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Birsel Batır showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK booed when GREENPEACE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil Can Tapgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Hasret Tansu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GREENPEACE's Teodor Mihădaș. Teodor Mihădaș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cevdet Bahçıvan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özgün Hamurcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Özgün Hamurcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halil Can Tapgaç went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Batır came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Birsel Batır reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özgün Hamurcu. The goal made the score 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasret Tansu to strike the kick off in the second half. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birsel Batır in the 51st minute of play. GREENPEACE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cevdet Bahçıvan in the 53rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Ömer Remzi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 55th minute, Halil Can Tapgaç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREENPEACE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birsel Batır in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özgün Hamurcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özal Özdoru to maneuver through the defense. GREENPEACE's Birsel Batır got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK defense, Halil Can Tapgaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özgün Hamurcu. The MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özgün Hamurcu should have stopped the shot. Birsel Batır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's zone, Halil Can Tapgaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgün Hamurcu came out of the goal and Halil Can Tapgaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özgür Turgut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özgün Hamurcu having to interfere. Özgün Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevdet Bahçıvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, GREENPEACE's goalkeeper Teodor Mihădaș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Türkeş Batüralp. When the referee ended the match the GREENPEACE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
